I arrived this morning and it's quite scary! But the town is very pretty. They have rubbish keyboards here too, grrr! They aren't QWERTY, they're AZERTY and loads of things are in the wrong place and there are lots of extra characters too, vicious. So it has taken me an age to write this and now there is a big queue so I must go but I promise I will try to write more and more often!

Apparently in the Teeside Shopping centre the oldies zoom around a bit too fast, and the security men and police in the centre have to tell them to slow down! excellent news! Sadly my housemates weren't quite as excited as me and they didn't join my squeals of laughter at the old woman suggesting that they have a race! marvellous! I thought of you guys immediately!
yay! got our wireless network set up yesterday so I am fully net-able! yay!

uni is going alright, nothing too strenuous yet, well i would bloody hope not after just one week of lectures! Got myself a job at wetherspoons, go me! serving lots of drunk people insane amounts of double vodka and redbull for insanely cheap prices! people get very shocked when i tell them their drinks are 99p! carona is an annoying fool, stupid bits of lime.

been going out a fair bit and am now suffering the nice freshers fluness, yum. lots of crappy organising to do for rowing, argh. PYGgy car is breaking again, taking him home next weekend to get him seen to, hope the exhaust doesn't fall off on the A1 again, in the style of last summer, nice.

I had something else to say but I have forgotten it.

My college children are called Malcolm and Alan, excellent! Josh (my husband) wasn't very impressed that we got two sons and no daughters. I would have liked a daughter too, but Josh would just pull her, which would be scary. ah well! My room is very cute but it's big, just got a gay roof that likes to hit me on the head from time to time. nice. and my bed creaks like an old boat. gay. will be collecting my hifi, bedside table, pictures, papyrus, iron and other niceties that I can scab when I go home next week. might try to steal dad's bike, as if he wouldn't notice :oP

Saw tom deller yesterday, he has just started at collingwood college. saw Rachel Frobisher as well, think shes at Aidans. ooh and lovely jonny, phwoar! Dog lives on my street, seen him out a couple of times. And the most interesting person who i've seen was some girl called sophie who was year below us at school and is now at Hatfield. She came up to my friend Katie in the loos in Rixies and asked her if she had any COKE and then when I was talking to her she said she had to go off as she had a spliff waiting, in the middle of rixies, which is about as big as jaspers, riiiiiiiiiigggggggghhhhhht. like you would! so I was a bit dismayed that she was from our school and just asking any old random for class A drugs! gay

oh and now it's raining, and I have to walk to work in 2 hours, better bloody stop raining by then!

May be going to see Falcons vs Saracens on Sunday. think we'll have to leave early or get the metro, was a bloody nightmare when we went the other week, crappy traffic everywhere! took forever to get there, and I had to park PYG in a muddy field and he's all dirty now and he didn't like the HUGE ridges, boing boing boing. poor thing. ahh well, he'll have a spangly new exhaust this time next week.

I have managed to fix my timetable so that I have nothing on a friday, YAY! this means I am going home on thursday afternoon next week, can have some decent time at home :)

Now I reckon I should set about downloading some more music! yay! Will hopefully get some photos up when I finish my film and get it processed. Will be very strange drunken shots of rixies, god only knows whats on the film! hehe

PS
T - I am a lazy arse who can't be arsed to walk to the post office. Maybe your birthday will be three months late too ;o) hehe

EDIT
I remembered what I was going to say. Had a bit of a row with julian last night. He was being so uphimself and patronising, like he has been since he got to uni. Just really pissed me off, he was dissing people in durham, and going on about a load of crap he knows absolutely fuck all about. Apparently i am being "influenced by people who don't know Jack Shit" oh of course julian, you know all about durham. he was just saying all these ridiculous things and being so high and mighty. he really does seem to think that he has some kind of moral superiority. argh!!!!!!!

oh yeah and allegedly he shagged Hannah Parker. nice...

My friend from mildert said "I love Hild Bede!!! You guys are great!!" because basically, Rixies on a monday is HB night and anyone who disputes that is a fool! we just take over the whole place and make a lot of noise. anyway, was soooooooo good! got chatted up by some rather nice chap in wetherspoons who later threw a rose across the room at me, aww! didn't see him again though, he said he didn't want to go to rixies with his scarf on, fool.

my house is lovely, my attic room is cute! will be getting broadband and network in a couple of weeks.

gtg now

well it has been brought to my attention that I haven't updated in ages, and this is very true! Just haven't really had the time or energy to sit and type at the computer after a day at work in the office or at the pub! anyway, I've been working at dad's work, doing crappy office admin. also been working at the pub as per. still got no money though, all gone on gay rent and car insurance. went to portugal for 10 days about 3 weeks ago, that was luvverly! Just me and dad and we were very lazy, just lying by the pool and eating out! hehe.

ooh robbie is on totp! hehe his new song is a grower I think, not too sure what all this Ouch ouch business is about! don't think it's really meant to make sense though!

went to scottyland last thursday to mum's new place. 'tis v nice, bit of a mess at the mo, but there is great potential, and mark's drawings for the extension look really good! went lobster fishing as well. Mark has bought a lobster business so we went out on the maiden voyage! I was driving the boat! Mark was very impressed, it would seem I have quite good sea legs! hah! We had to pull up about 18 lobster pots and cages (actually called Crills I think) which were attached to various buoys along the Loch. Was quite exciting, we got 2 lobsters and 2 big crabs to use in the restaurant. There were also loads of little crabs, starfishes, urchins, creepy crawlies and other random sea creatures! We had to put smelly scabby fish heads back into these little sacks in the cages to attract the lobsters. Per (pronounced Par), mum's Swedish chef, was very excited and made Lobster Tortellini with our catch! Very exciting!

Went to Devon on monday with mum to see Grandma and Auntie Julie. Was Grandma's court hearing for the settlement for her divorce. gay rubbish she has to give Peter prat £29,000 which means she has to sell the house. However, selling the house isn't the end of the world as she has a fancy man who she is going to marry(!) and move in with near Exeter. tis sad because I love the house and where it is, oh well! at least grandma is happy with her new chappy, who actually is a very old man! hehehe

got back home wednesday evening. lazed around yesterday and have been packing today, argh I hate it! god knows how Im going to fit everything into PYG! I gave him a wash yesterday, and then it started raining just as I finished, argh! then I hoovered the inside and washed the windows today! So PYG is nice and spangly! Put some air in his tyres today as well, ready for all the weight going in tomorrow, god only knows how all my stuff is going to fit!!

so I'm finally back up to durham tomorrow, term doesnt start for over a week though! crazy!

right well I'm off now, got to go to the pub and see the old men, oh lovely. will hopefully update more regularly in a few weeks when we get the broadband and network sorted out in the house! and I'll be eager for distractions from uni work!

In fact, I can hardly remember the first one at all! then went home and the thunder started, and the lightning and then the RAIN! oh my word that rain was immense! our garden flooded, the road flooded, the corner of the yard at work flooded, dad rang from the nav to say that water was pouring in there and it was flooded! craziness!

might be going to cinema this afternoon if mejulie rings me and if they arent seeing spiderman!

I need a digitalll camera, normal cameras are bloody expensive to run, but digital cameras are bloody expensive to buy! argh! I want to take more pictures and have them on my computer, all my photos are old and I look all different!

This weather can buggar orf! I'm going to watch the national rowing championships tomorrow and if the weather is gay then it will not be much fun at all! argh!

Went out in the car with dad today, down to stevenage and hitchin, very exciting indeed (hmm). read my book whilst dad had an appointment in this lovely country pub, all cutesy and old. then went on a nice mystery tour down teensy tiny tree tunnel country lanes, lovely!

should be meeting el tess tomorrow afternoon/evening after I've cheered at the rowing and got bored of the gay rain. grrr! still haven't found another job, there seems to be a distinct lack of temporary jobs in newark. so I am sooo bored during the days. need to pay my rowing club fees then I can go down the club whenever i want, but alas, that means money.

Anyone fancy going to Leeds on the friday? or is anyone already going?

    <lj:music>Lost Prophets - Last summer (I love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</lj:music>

ahh PYGgy car has awoken. Bit of a shock to the system I expect, after sitting on the drive for 6months, I wake him up and make him drive to durham on monday! then we went to see Harry Potter at the metrocentre on monday afternoon. lovely lovely! tis the best film so far methinks, bit scary though! poor little kiddies! If I'd seen that when I was 7 I would have bawled my eyes out. but then again, I cried all the way home to Bingham from the Showcase after seeing Beauty and the Beast "don't kill the beast!"

I wish it was the ball again this week. so good. keiretsu were amazing, and I hate drum n bass normally, but when its live its soooo good! and they were a bit different, had quite a lot of latino influences. Got to look out for the next PASTE night at the uni and hope they'll be playing again. Cheeky girls were so funny. we were right at the front, bashed up against the stage, loads of drooling foolish boys behind us and nat, katie and me leaping like loons at the front! they were of course suitably skimpy dressed in strange bikini tops and hotpants with weird cut out trousers, kind of christina aguileira like, but made from black lycra with neon pink trim. nice. new song "cheeky flamenco" coming out soon, woo, can hardly wait! "cheeky girls do the cheeky flamenco". lovely. N Trance were also suitably amusing, the big black man fancies himself a bit! grabbed my hand (urgh) and scratched me with his bling bling ring, nice! sadly wasn't kelly lorenna singing, but some other random bird in a rather short skirt :S The backing dancers were, um, interesting. and then the lovelies....the bluetones!!!! they were amazing! sadly didnt play Marblehead Johnson, The reservoir, four day weekend, after hours, but never mind! they were great anyway! Slight return was sooooo good, and keep the homefires burning. finished with If... I was jumping around like such a loon. had such a good night. and I hardly drank at all! Had about 6 drinks, maybe 7, which is not a lot at all considering the ball ran from 5.30 to 5.30!!! so good to be able to have such an amazing time and remember all of it the following day. scott mills was slightly disturbed by our requests for cheese but played them nonetheless. I should have got his autograph and got him to play a request for me on monday for my birthday but I was too busy dancing like an idiot! went onto the boat at about 3am after scott mills had finished. its a cruise boat that does river trips during the day and discos at night. it moored up at my boat club and we continued the party on there cos the bar had to close in college due to licencing rules. They were showing Moulin Rouge in the bar as well, and we went back in there when we got bored on the boat, it was full of people all flopped out and drunk, most amusing. we went in the back bar and lazed around. mark went to sleep on the pool table, fool! chris and i queued for like an hour outside at the burger van. chris was very useful keeping me warm! went back inside and ate sausage and chips. was very strange to be sat in the bar at 4.30am eating sausage and chips. somehow the food made me go very woozy and drunk (doesnt make sense at all!) and i was falling asleep on chris, ooh dear! but i was determined to stay awake for the champagne breakfast at 5am, which i managed (didnt drink champagne though, ooooh noooooo) then the survivors photo on the lawn at 5.30! yay! there were so many people there, quite impressive! then went to bed for a couple of hours before getting up at 8 to watch england getting thrashed by NZ in the rugby, :o( Got a train home at 11.40 and then lazed around and went to my work for dinner, yum yum.

had a lovely day on sunday, just went for lunch at the Caunton Beck, very nice and a bit posh! :) yum yum! drove back up here on monday, woo.

went out for dinner monday with nat and katie, was very yummy. found a new amazing restaurant in durham which we shall be frequenting more often! tis a bit painful on the wallet though!

had a pretty crap night in Rixies, just wasnt up for it really. and it was meant to be my birthday night out, just couldnt be arsed. and I had the underlying thing of it being the 21st June, not exactly a date for celebration in my family.

got the most amazing bag from mum, its a Radley bag and I have wanted a Radley for ages!!!! they're soooooooooooo gorgeous with the cute dog! Now I just need a Lulu Guiness bag, the other designer bags that I am in love with, but I think I shall have to wait a while as they are significantly more expensive, few hundred! argh!

going to the last back to school tonight, yay vodka jelly, yum! shall be sporting my Form Captain badge and the Kings prefect badge i managed to scab from someone, probably jules, hehehe! so that should be good.

results today! argh! then registration tomorrow! argh!

home on friday, woo! should be out on fri night, either with tess or jules (that will be interesting!). May see troy first though....and tom has said i can go to his Black BMX BBQ, which would be most amusing, me and a load of weirdo BMXing boys, nice! but I may pop in later, on the way back home to newark.

well thats all i can be arsed with typing for now, and I've typed a lot, woo
